China Buying Facebook Ads to Spread Propaganda about Uighur Muslims
China spending a lot on Facebook ads. And Mark Zurckerberg is gladly taking money from the communist regime.
This is not the first time that Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook allowed China to buy ads to spread China’s propaganda about Uyghur Muslimns and Xinjiang.
Many media reported on this but the social media giant is not changing it’s policies.
This is the latest ad from the ChinaGlobalTVNetwork facebook page.
China has been trying to gather support for its actions in Xinjiang and trying to justify them in the name of “fighting terrorism”.
Video looks engineered and fabricated. However; the video is spot-on to hit the western sentiment. There is ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Jihad, children burned and a pretty lady telling her “Jihad” horror story.
Video shows a group and children is reciting the holy Quran and cuts to a video of children firing arms where a guy is holding what looks like ISIS flag.
They show an women, telling her story. First they show her face from a distance and just for no reason blurred her face for no reason.
It is very unlike that Facebook is going to pull this ads and stop the Chinese state controlled media from spreading. Mark Zuckerberg is Showing his true colors in recent few years. His actions about political ads, privacy and his love for the right wing in the west is very open.
